Maryellen has over 10 years of experience consulting to various entities in the healthcare system. Her primary areas of expertise include employer group benefits and stop-loss pricing and strategy. Maryellen supports employer groups across all lines of coverage, including health plan pricing and budgeting, reserving, plan design analysis, contribution strategies, and vendor management. Maryellen also supports employers in evaluating stop-loss coverage, including self-funded and captive arrangements.
Additionally, Maryellen provides support to state Medicaid plans, commercial plans, and pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs).
Prior to joining Milliman, Maryellen spent nearly seven years as a consultant at a global benefits consulting firm.
