Experience
Charlotte has experience from a wide range of projects covering pricing, data science and business transformation. Charlotte was most recently Pricing Director at ManyPets, a high growth Insurtech that achieved ‘Unicorn’ status in 2021. During her 5-year tenure she established the in-house pricing function, driving business strategy, risk modelling, and market optimization to support a portfolio of half a million customers. She was instrumental in implementing an end-to-end pricing platform as part of a digital transformation project. Charlotte was also in an in-house role at AXA Insurance UK working across SME and P&C lines. She was part of the initial team for a substantial commercial lines transformation project, focussed on best practise pricing processes and digital integration of data and rating systems.
Charlotte’s technical experience includes:
- ·Extensive peer review of pricing models across multiple platforms
- Market and competitor analysis, price optimisation and demand modelling
- Geospatial modelling and classification techniques (occupations, pet breeds, motor)
- Machine learning techniques and building GBMs for commercial property
- Building risk pricing models in-house at a UK motor insurer, including both personal and commercial motor and motor breakdown
- ·Modelling of the impact of credit score factors in pet insurance
- Pricing review of employer’s liability rates and price adequacy reporting
