Kevin Manning
Kevin Manning is a principal and practice leader in Milliman’s Dublin office. He joined the company in 2007. Kevin has more than 20 years experience in the insurance industry.
Experience
Kevin has extensive experience in a wide variety of insurance functions, including actuarial, capital management, product development, financial reporting, risk management, marketing, and new life company authorisations. He combines strong technical actuarial skills with strategic general management experience.
Kevin is a member of the PRSA Committee of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland and has been a member of a number of committees and working parties of the Society over time.
He also discharges the statutory roles of Head of Actuarial Function and PRSA actuary, and discharged the statutory role of appointed actuary for a number of companies under the Solvency I regime. He has also discharged the Reviewing Actuary role in relation to the CBI’s Solvency II peer review requirements and the Independent Actuary role required in respect of life assurance portfolio transfers.
Kevin’s consulting experience includes a variety of projects covering both life insurance and health insurance.
Prior to joining Milliman, Kevin held a range of roles with New Ireland/Bank of Ireland Life.
